Water Treatment Technologies
Ultra Tec® provides water treatment technologies for residential, commercial and industrial applications across the UAE. Each treatment process is selected according to the water source, required water quality, flow rate and application.
Water softening reduces hardness caused mainly by calcium and magnesium. It helps control scale formation in plumbing, water heaters and other equipment, and is commonly used in residential, commercial and industrial applications.
Reverse osmosis uses pressure and a semi-permeable membrane to reduce dissolved salts and other selected substances from water. RO systems can be configured for domestic drinking water, commercial applications and high-capacity industrial treatment.
Self-cleaning filtration systems continuously remove suspended particles while reducing the need for frequent manual filter cleaning. They are suitable for applications requiring higher flow rates, continuous operation and protection of downstream equipment.
Copper-silver ionization is a water-treatment process that uses controlled copper and silver ion release as part of a microbial control strategy. The system can be applied in selected water hygiene, building-water and other engineered treatment applications.
Deionization uses ion-exchange resins to reduce dissolved ionic minerals from water and produce high-purity water. DI systems are commonly used in laboratories, manufacturing, process-water applications and other facilities requiring low ionic content.
Water Ionization
Water ionizers use electrolysis to separate incoming mineral-containing water into streams with different pH characteristics. They are generally used as point-of-use systems and should be selected according to the incoming water quality and intended application.
